1. What are you doing five minutes before you go on the ice?
We have final discussions between coaches and team mates, followed by moments for concentration and then the game is on.
2. What kind of hockey stick curve are you using?
For many years Anže is using P91A/Drury model, which he slightly adopted to his needs.
3. What stiffness of stick are you using?
Kopi uses a bit softer composite sticks, somewhere between 85-90, depending on the batch.
4. If you could point out only to one role model, who would it be?

5. Is there any particular reason why you chose jersey #11?
Anze did not choose his number, therefore, no there is no special reason behind Eleven. In early years of his career Anze used to wear number 14. #14 was his father´s number (Matjaz Kopitar) and he played for local team HK Jesenice and Yugoslavian and national team.
As Anze was growing up, there was a season where he did not have a possibility to wear 14 any more since he was so young coming into seniors and he has been wearing many different numbers for different teams. With HK HIT Kranjska Gora he was wearing #13, in Sweden (Sodertalje) he had the jersey, #28 in juniors and # 27 in senior team, first year in a senior national team he had #25, then #13 and after his NHL start he wears #11 for Slovenian National team.
When he came to Los Angeles, his first number was #52, when he made it to the team he received # 11. Talking it out with Anze, the most probable reason for his number 11 is that he was #11 draft pick, but he never asked why. He likes the number and he hopes he is going to wear it for a long time.
6. Why you named your web site and collection Anze's Eleven?
After he has completed his first NHL season, Avnze prepared a charity event in Slovenia and he invited his friends from sports and media world. At the and since there were 11 celebrities in Anze´s In Line hockey team, they were called Anze´s Eleven. From that point on we have commonly decided to keep Anze´s Eleven alive and this is how we came up with www.anzeseleven.com.
For now you can see only a small portion of what is going to come in next month, but definitely before next season. For now you can check more or less all the right information about Anze, we have started a fan-shop and there will be many things coming. I will keep you informed. Please note that all activities, advertising, shop and all other on www.anzeseleven.com is charity driven. In the beginning of next season, Anze will launch charity activities and reveal his plan.
